Romantic Weekend in Napa
Arrival Day
3pm: Arrive and check into hotel
Walk or bike from your hotel to downtown Napa
Find a tasting room for a glass of wine before dinner: Acumen, Alpha Omega, or Be Bubbly are all nice choices for people watching
Dinner at Compline (gastro wine pub) or Angele (romantic French Bistro on the river)
End the evening around a fire pit at the Archer Rooftop for a night cap
Day 1
8am Head to Oxbow for breakfast sandwiches at Model Bakery and a coffee from Ritual. Model Bakery is the most famous of Napa bakeries (their muffins are featured on Oprah’s Holiday List almost every year!)
Rent an electric bike from Napa Valley Bike and ride the vine trail (a protected bike trail) to Yountville.
12pm Lunch at Bouchon, Bistro Jeanty or Southside
Option 1: Return your bike in Yountville and Uber to a wine tasting, for example B Cellars, Clif Lede, Sinegal or Sinskey
Option 2: Ride back to Napa. Grab a frozé at Bar Lucia in Oxbow for a pick me up. Other options for happy hour: a drink on the Archer Rooftop, or a beer at Stone Brewing
7:30 pm Fancy and special dinner at French Laundry or La Toque
Day 2-
8am grab a coffee and the most amazing morning bun you have ever tasted in your life at Le Paris.
Drive up valley for a hike at Rector Reservoir - this hike is 3.5 miles round trip. It goes straight up at first…probably rated intermediate, but worth it for the views.
Champagne tasting at Schramsberg, Domaine Carneros, or Mumm.
Late brunch at Charter Oak or Farmstead in St Helena. Try to get an afternoon tasting reserved at Amizetta - gorgeous views!
Take an evening Gondola Ride on the Napa River.
Romantic dinner at Torc
Day 3
Early morning balloon ride or hike at Skyline Park or sleep in!
Wine pairing lunch at Progeny (other pairing choices if you can’t get in to Progeny are B Cellars or maybe Peju)
Relax with a good book by the pool or get a massage.
Horseback riding and wine tasting at Shadybrook Winery
Dinner at Ciccio’s in Yountville
