WELCOME TO THE WORLD OF NAPANISTA

It all started when…I decided people were tired of hearing me tell them where to go in Napa; which new restaurants to try, which wineries have the best experience, who has the best burger, or where to get your nails done. I was worried I just sounded bossy and maybe they just didn’t want to hear it. Much better if I put it all in a blog, and let them come here if they want my opinion!

My really good friend Lisa, has an NYC blog (check it out here, its awesome) and she writes for herself because she can’t not write. She’s happy to have it widely read and shared, but really its just an outlet for her. She was my inspiration to get started and I thank her for the encouragement. Gathering an audience is a slow process. I blog because I need to write, I love it, but also I need to share.

Thank you also to my husband, who may not take the best photos (we are working on that) but who always encourages and supports me, no matter where my crazy ideas may take us.
